This is how I feel about the trips I have taken with Roberta -
They are FUN. I was not sure about going on the first one I booked as I am a widow and most people are couples - but I had a GREAT time everyone made me feel part of the group and VERY welcome.

Roberta runs a good ship - the Hotels were very nice - breakfasts were good - tour guides made the tours interesting - coaches were comfortable and the drivers VERY good. From the moment you arrive at the coach you are taken care of - it's a great way to travel in Mexico.

Roberta and her assistant were there for us the whole time and anything we needed was found if possible. I am planning on going on most of her trips in the New Year and really looking forward to seeing friends I made on the last trips.

Roberta, you are our all time favorite tour guide. Your knowledge of Tonala / Tlaquepaque and exactly where to go for everything we were looking for was incredibly helpful. The bus was so comfortable and provided a perfect environment for catching up with some old friends and making plenty of new ones. We were quickly hooked on the 4400 series you showed on the bus video system and ordered the remaining tapes as quickly as we returned to the US.

As promised your hotel selection was convenient to everything and equally as comfortable. We were delighted to be able to shop without carrying any bags - simply asking the merchants to deliver our treasures back to the hotel. You and our driver made the trip lots of fun and your knowledge of just where to eat; shop and tour made it a trip we're guaranteed to repeat with you! Thanks so much for the fun and hospitality! Can't wait to tour with you again later this year!

I have been on several of Roberta’s trips, and they have all been a wonderful experience. I especially liked Cuernavaca, lots of history, and very unusual little town, and I swear it is haunted! {In a good way}. We always have lots of time for shopping, and I appreciate the English speaking guides from the local area. The agenda has been known to change, as maybe something is closed, etc, but we always figure out an alternative that is usually even better than the old plan. You do need to be flexible on these trips!. All the trips have been very comfortable, on the busses, and in the hotels. Usually the hotels are in walking distance to the sights. I recommend these trips to anyone who wants to have fun learning more about Mexico!

Mexico City was a place we had long wanted to visit.
Alegre Events and Tours provided the perfect introduction to this complex city we probably would not have visited on our own. We also visited Taxco, Cuernavaca and Puebla. While it was all wonderful, what particularly struck us was the quality of the services for the price we paid. The hotels were excellent; the bus first class. There was a nice balance between site visits and free time to explore on our own. We’re looking forward to our next Alegre tour to Guanajuato.

Mexico City, Taxco, Puebla & Cuernavaca

We just loved our day out of the city and on our adventure into Mascota and Talpa. What a wonderful day! It was such a beautiful drive - the scenery is spectacular. The nicest part was that we didn't have to drive! Also when we got to Mascota you had such a terrific day planned for us. Breakfast was delicious and unique in that gorgeous Inn. Then the tour of the city, the museum, the monastery, all of it was delightful. Talpa was so pretty and interesting as well. I feel like I understand the people here better for having been there. We are looking forward to future trips with you - especially the Mexico City tour. I think that would be fascinating. Sandi Lee

Just a quick note to tell you how pleased Sandi and I are that you are going to be running your tours again this year. Not to put too fine a point on things, we have never been on tours that were so organized. You make it all so seamless and easy for your clients. We are still in
